Your body already knows how to release tension
Reflexomobility™ teaches young people to work with the Natural Shaking Reflex — a body-based self-regulation skill for kids, teens, and the adults who support them.
Which of these sounds like your week?
Most people arrive here after recognising a pattern, not after reading about a method.
“She’s fine all day at school and falls apart the moment she walks in the door.”
Holding it together all day costs something. The release lands where it feels safest — with you.
For parents“I’m not bad at handling it. My body just won’t switch off.”
You don’t need to be good at meditation. This works on the body, not on your thoughts.
For teens“They train hard and then carry the whole session home with them.”
Activation is coached in detail. The minutes on the way back down are usually left to chance.
For coaches and teachersA reflex, not a symptom
Mammals shake to discharge tension after stress. Humans have the same reflex and learn early to suppress it.
Reflexomobility™ teaches young people to switch it on deliberately and safely — so the nervous system has a way down as well as a way up.
Without it
The activation stays up
Sleep, focus and mood carry yesterday into today. More rules and more talking rarely reach it, because the problem isn’t in the thinking.
With it
The body finishes the cycle
A few minutes of the reflex and the nervous system comes back down on its own — the way it does for every other mammal.

In their own words
Teenagers who practise a few times every week.
I wish every teenager knew this tool. Each one of us is struggling — I am not alone.
Micah C., 13Exercise trains my muscles. The shaking reflex trains my nerves.
Ali, 13It felt strange the first time. Now I can turn it on easily — it helps me fall asleep.
KatjaFive minutes of this and it feels like a re-set button.

Thirteen years of independent practice with adolescents and parents. In 2024 she led the TRE with Kids workshop in Amsterdam together with Vera Live.

Children are taught what stress is. Almost none are taught what to do with it in their bodies. I kept seeing the same gap — in classrooms, on teams, at my own kitchen table — so we built something that parents, coaches and teachers can actually use, instead of another thing only specialists can deliver.

Questions people ask first
Is this therapy?
No. It’s a skill, taught the way a skill is taught. Reflexomobility™ was built as a pedagogical framework so that parents, coaches and teachers can use it — not as a treatment that requires a practitioner in the room.
Shaking on purpose sounds strange. Is it safe?
The person stays in control the whole time and can stop whenever they want. The reflex is self-limiting — it’s the same response your body produces after a fright or after hard exercise, done deliberately instead of suppressed.
The course spends a full chapter on how to activate it safely and how to recognise when to stop.
Is this the same as TRE?
It’s built on it. TRE was created by David Berceli, who co-founded this framework. Reflexomobility™ is the version adapted for young people — different language, different pacing, and designed to be taught by the adults already around them.
Does my child have to talk about anything difficult?
No. Nothing has to be disclosed, discussed or written down. The practice works on physiology, which is part of why it fits in classrooms and changing rooms.
How long does it take?
The practice itself runs a few minutes. The parent course is eight short chapters — you learn it once and use it for years.
Do I need to be certified?
Not to use it with your own child — the parent course covers everything you need at home. Teaching it to a group of children, a class or a squad does require the Continuing Education certification first.
Give your child a tool they will carry for life
The parent course walks you through the science and the practice in eight short chapters.
